Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

Torrance is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Torrance follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I forgot to ask his name, but he did such a thorough and excellent job cleaning my teeth! My teeth felt so fresh and incredibly smooth afterward. He also asked if I wanted to apply a cream to help strengthen my teeth for an additional $35. Of course, I said yes! It was a very satisfying experience, and I’m really happy with the results. Thank you so much! 😊🦷✨

Waited 5 months for insurance to approve crown turns out they never sent the request until I called wondering why it was taking so long. Insurance denied it due to the tooth only needing a filling. (Which I confirmed with a new dentist) was told by the person on the phone that I was wrong and that wasn't what the code meant but I was sent a paper by my insurance that had what the codes meant 🥴 I asked if I could schedule an appointment to get the xrays redone & to re-examine the tooth and was met with attitude. When I called her out on said attitude she didn't apologize and argued with me denying said attitude. Very unprofessional! Said she was the manager, if that is the case she needs to be re-trained on customer service. If I talked to someone in pain like how she spoke to me I'd be fired from my customer service job. Anyway I have a new dentist and they filled my cavities because I didn't need two crowns.

Personally, I don’t feel like they should even get a star. Very uneducated they don’t know what they’re doing, and they broke two of my teeth off and are not going to help me fix it in anyway as a matter of fact, they don’t even want me as a patient anymore how do you like that don’t go to them they don’t know what they’re doing. I was supposed to get two crowns, and the assistant ripped off the temporary with two of my teeth don’t go don’t go don’t go. They glued the crown to my gums and you can see one of them has come out and the other ones about to come out. I am so angry. I gave them $1000 already so mad I’m getting a lawyer.

The dentistry service here is TOP NOTCH. I was handled with care and consideration during my surface cavity fillings, and diagnosis’. We had a little hiccup with appointments, but the front desk staff was forthcoming with who to speak to, to handle something beyond their control, and upper management met my concerns with warmth and empathy. I would recommend this place.

Booked an appointment for my mom for a normal cleaning only, to be covered completely under our insurance. Explicitly told them she wanted "normal cleaning only, no deep cleaning, nothing else". Upon arrival they claimed there needed to be xrays and that would incur a $40 fee, but only after we had signed one thing of paperwork. It's just 40 bucks but I don't like charges being sprung on me last second because I can't even confirm with my our insurance's evidence of coverage to confirm. I had also explicitly outlined what I wanted done for my mom so it was also off-putting to feel like I was at a mechanic shop having random unagreed extras tacked on. I told them I would have to cancel for today and check with insurance and reschedule. They then told us we'd have a cancellation fee and that's just their policy to add the Xray before cleaning. So either I'm forced to pay the $40 xray copay (when I am not even sure insurance covers full/partial/not at all), or I take the cancellation hit. Well I refuse to take either and will be monitoring my credit card to chargeback any fees they'll try to tack onto me. Sad because I actually had a fairly good experience here before and I was tryi
